Writing my way to becoming a freelancer

Be My Guest

As you may or may not know, March is Be My Guest month here in the blog-o-sphere. And Jargon Writer is getting involved.

I’ve already done a few guest posts this month — two in the last two weeks. I did a post on PR, “From an Editor’s Perspective” for Hello. {Work}, posted last Monday. Then, earlier this week, my post on the perks of working with Gen-y went up on SX Gen Y.

And now I’m signing up writers to do guest posts here.

I’ve already spoken to three different writers, each of who will bring their unique experiences and ideas to Jargon Writer, and I’m considering doing more. I believe each of us freelancers can benefit from hearing the different perspectives each of these writers will bring to the table. If you want to participate, shoot me an email at mbreau (at) jargonwriter (dot) com. Or leave a comment on this post.

If you’re not a writer, but are a freelancer, or if you just don’t want to write a post but would like to be involved, let me know. I’ve also started doing Q&A posts (like the multi-part series with Ty), with the aim of doing one a month. So if you’d like to offer yourself to be interviewed, contact me for that too – and I’ll be interviewing freelancers with different skills and in different professions, so volunteer even if writing “isn’t your thing.”
